The Heart Behind the Bakes

My name is Colleen and I am the face behind The Frangipane Girl. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the one showing up to family gatherings and friend get-togethers with a plate of something new and delicious. Baking was my way of experimenting, sharing joy, and bringing people together. What started as trying out recipes for the people I love has grown into something much bigger — a heartfelt bakery built on passion, care, and community.

At the core of everything I make is a simple belief: we should be able to enjoy life’s sweet moments and feel good while doing it. That’s why I choose only organic, high-quality, clean ingredients — always free from seed oils, dyes, and soy. For me, using wholesome ingredients isn’t just about health; it’s about creating treats that taste incredible and leave you feeling nourished, not weighed down.

Born and raised in St. Louis, I feel honored to bring my micro bakery to the very community that shaped me. Every cookie, loaf, and pastry I create is made with love, care, and the hope that it adds a little more sweetness to your day.
